About Us

Our Social Creed
We believe in God, Creator of the world; and in Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of creation. We believe in the Holy Spirit, through whom we acknowledge God’s gifts, and we repent of our sin in misusing these gifts to idolatrous gifts.
We affirm the natural world as God’s handiwork and dedicate ourselves to its preservation, enhancement and faithful use by human kind.
We joyfully receive for ourselves and others the blessings of community, sexuality, marriage, and family.
We commit ourselves to the rights of men, women, children, youth, young adults, the aging, and people with disabilities; to improvement of the quality of life; and to the rights and dignity of racial, ethnic, and religious minorities.
We believe in the right and duty of persons to work for the glory of God and the good of themselves and others and the protection of their welfare in so doing; in the rights to property as a trust from God, collective bargaining, and responsible consumption; and in the elimination of economic and social distress.
We dedicate ourselves to peace throughout the world, to the rule of justice and law among nations, and to individual freedom for all of the world.
We believe in the present and in the final triumph of God’s Word in human affairs and gladly accept our commission to manifest the life of the gospel in the world. Amen.

Covenant of Relationship

The Body Life

Being part of the Fellowship an officer has the following covenant with the individual member of the body and the body as a whole.

Affirmation – There is nothing you have done and nothing you can do that will make me stop loving you.
Availability – Everything that is mine, my time, my talent, my energy and everything that is of me – is at your disposal, to the limits of my disposal.
Prayer – I will pray for you in a more or less regular fashion, believing that God wants me to bring your needs to the Creator.
Honesty – I will speak the truth in honesty, even at the risk of discomfort for you and me. I will trust our relationship to hurdle difficulties 6that may arise as we confront each other with what must be said. For I realize that it is in speaking the truth in love that we both grow up in every way unto God who is the Head.
Openness – I will strive to be a more open person who will not be afraid to express his/her needs, weakness, failures to a sister/brother who will accept me and love me for what I am.
Sensitivity – I will endeavor to be more sensitive person to your needs; to observe and not just to see; to listen and not just to hear; to learn and reflect to act; to feel not with my senses, but with my heart.
Confidentiality – I will promise to keep what you have share within the fellowship, realizing that it is in keeping personal things ‘personal’ that trust grows within the body.
Accountability – I covenant to be part of the body, not just to come and go as I please. I am accountable to discover and use my gifts for the body. More than this, I covenant to guard my inner life, endeavoring to grow up in the Lord, that I may be an asset to you and the body. If there is anything wrong in my life, anything weak in my relationship with God, I promise to struggle with it in order that I may be a stronger person, a stronger person for you and the body.
