| 1. Breakthrough Leadership Training | This will be the continuation of the training program previously implemented from 2002-2005. During the first phase, 4 annual conferences (Bicol, Mindanao, Palawan and SWPAC) were targeted. The next phase was devoted to the trainor’s training. Two train the trainors programs were held, one in Tuguegarao and another in Antipolo, Rizal. For this biennium, the target beneficiaries would be the local chapter leaders within a particular district. Training teams should also be organized to cater to selected cluster of annual conferences. Additional train the trainor programs should be launched. |
1. Launc BLT programs in at least 10 districts2. Implement at least 2 Train the Trainor programs in order to produce at least 20 trainors.3. | 2. Membership Orientation Module | This program shall create a standard membership orientation module fo new UMYAF recruits in the local chapters. Module shall include a short lecture or briefing on UMYAF history, vision/mission of the fellowship, organizational structure, among others. For “old” UMYAF members, there should be a review Each local chapter shall be required to conduct at least 1 orientation program for new members each year | 1. | 3. Advocacy on Various Church and Social Issues | From time to time, as the current situation may call for it, advocacy/awareness programs may be launched on various social and church issues such as Autonomy movement, HIV/AIDS, Responsible Parenting, Domestic Violence, Para-church movements, Human Rights and other pressing issues | To launch at least 2 advocacy/ awareness programs on various social and church issues that affect young adults | Dec 2006 April 2007 September 2007 February 2008 |

| 4. Focused Group Discussions (FGD) on the UMC Social Principles | The program presents a new and alternative form of bible study session/discussion/reflection that would center on the UMC Social Principles. This can be implemented within a local chapter or district level and shall target a maximum of 15 participants. Sessions may be conducted outside the “church” or traditional study hour, say, weekdays after office. A module should be published to guide the discussion groups and the moderator/facilitator | 1. | 5. Lecture series during National Council meetings | This program shall maximize the regular National Council meetings to be a venue for learning, reflection and sharing for the Council members At least one-hour shall be allotted for a short lecture/orientation on various topics that would be relevant/useful to the Council members in the performance of their leadership/administrative functions. | To conduct mini-lecture sessions during Council meetings on various topics/issues | Same as the scheduled dates of Council meetings |
| 6. Discipleship, Renewal, Empowerment for Young Adult Mission (DREAM) |
This program shall be the continuation of the discipleship program launched in 2004. The program shall focus on equipping UMYAF for discipleship and mission, enhancing their leadership skills in the fellowship and local church and deepening their faith and commitment in God’s ministry. This may be launched in the district and annual conference level however program shall be strictly guided and monitored by the National UMYAFP through its Nurture Committee. | To launch at least 2 DREAM programs in the district and annual conference level | 2nd quarter – 20071st quarter – 2008 |
